9/11 ALERT S.F. Peninsula Watershed Security Plan

...Republic or Monarchy?  "A Republic, If You Can Keep It!"

"Today the tyranny that our Founding Fathers feared threatens the American Dream and the Constitutional liberties that assure the future of the dream. Jefferson feared the tyranny of those ``who fear and distrust the people, and wish to draw all from them into the hands of the higher classes." Madison feared the tyranny of the majority and the ``abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power." John Adams feared ``all men," recognizing that ``the only maxim of the free government ought to be to trust no man living with power to endanger the public liberty." (It Takes a Hero by William Perry Pendley).

Today, those who ``fear and distrust the people" have acquired, by ``gradual and silent encroachments" the power to endanger the public liberty. From their glass towers in New York City and San Francisco, and from their grand offices along the corridors of power in Washington, D.C., environmental elitists have seized upon the people's wish to ensure the quality of the human environment to declare war upon millions of Americans. Using lawsuits, lobbyists and sky-is-falling language and literature, and growing federal bureaucracy, environmental extremist have destroyed jobs , businesses, homes and even entire communities. With their purist ideology and their insatiable demands for power and control, they threaten not just the lives of the men and women engaged in economic pursuits to which they object, not just communities that depend upon wise use of the Earth, not just the strength and vitality of the nation's economy, but also the ability of the American people to live free."  (It Takes a Hero by William Perry Pendley)

Edmund Burke once declared, ``The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."   We, the California Watershed Posse, intend to do something.  As Winston Churchill once noted,  ``We have not journeyed all this way across the centuries, across the oceans, across the mountains, across the prairies, because we are made of sugar candy".  The California Watershed Posse is mounted up...and we're moving out!
