1)  John Muir & Wallace Stegner were the infamous spiritual high priests of California's Envirocult 5th Columns also known as  COSA ( Coastal Open Space Alliance ) Sierra Club , Committee for Green Foothills (CGF), Mid-Peninsula Action for Tomorrow (MPACT) and Menlo Park Ethical Residential Design (MPERD).    Dictionary online provides us with a clear understanding of cults. `` A cult is defined as an exclusive group of persons sharing an esoteric, usually artistic or intellectual interest.   Cults can be a religion or religious sect generally considered to be extremist or false, with its followers often living in an unconventional manner under the guidance and of an authoritarian, charismatic leader.   A usually nonscientific method or regimen claimed by its originator to have exclusive or exceptional power in curing a particular disease.   Obsessive, especially faddish, devotion to or veneration for a person, principle, or thing."   San Mateo County Supervisor Richard Gordon is the Envirocults poster boy and anoited minister of anti-"Wise Use" propaganda for the Mid-Peninsula Open Space District  (MROSD) and Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST),  California history has taught us that these two tenured Envirocults 5th Columns attracted flocks of sheeple that are usually mentally unstable, incompetent, and corrupt while be very adept at infiltrating governmental natural resource regulatory bureaucracies.   The Envirocults 5th Column are destroying California's economic and watershed natural systems sustainability by lobbying their "Smart Growth" CARICO schemeCitizens With Common Sense have published an insightful website providing an overview of the 5th Column's philosophy and strategy for  taking over  North  America with "The Wildlands Project."

Rural Incorporated Districts (RID)

2) The 2003 California Watershed Posse  Living Legacy Program  celebrated  Martin Luther King’s birthday by launching their “HelpRID.US” initiatives for the formation of Rural Incorporated Districts (RID)  throughout all rural areas of California. The California Watershed Posse’s first   RID will be  formed in the unincorporated Rural Lands area of San Mateo County . The RID formation election will be held within the boundaries of the proposed RID in calendar year 2003.  The incorporation charter for the  RID will embody  coordinated resource management and planning of vital Rural Lands area resource infrastructure such as water, sewer, roads, watershed natural systems, parks , and open space.  The RID’s land use governing document will be a “RID General Plan” The primary goal of the  RID is to secure “local  control”  of the RID areas in perpetuity  while preserving , protecting, and providing sustainability of the quality of life values found in the  Rural Lands area of California.  CWP, as a 501©3 non-profit CRMP Council, only  supports non-apartheid rural eco-justice policies and projects. In keeping with CWP educational mission, we recommend reviewing the teachers tutorial: Cry, the beloved country. And yes Lennie Roberts, it has been done before! Read history of City of Fremont and the man who named Fremont.  If Oakhurst can do it, why not SMC Rural Lands?   State declares "County of San Mateo is saging"! 3)  What is these Envirocults 5th Column declared agenda? Da Envirocult and CGE extremist are obsessed with restoring Hetch Hetchy valley to it's natural state while retaining authoritarian powers over rural California by exerting undue influence on our corrupt body politic ruling class to nationalize all privately held Rural Lands! The Hetch Hetchy water system according to the Bay Area Water Users Association (BAWUA) represents broad regional interest to a service area that covers over 460 miles in Alameda, San Mateo, Santa Clara and City and County of San Francisco. The Hetch Hetchy regional system is home to more than 2.5 million residents and headquarters for 63 of the ``Top 100" companies in the Bay Area including 6 of the 10 largest software companies, 17 of the 25 largest venture capital firms, and 20 of the 25 largest biotech firm; supports nearly 750,000 jobs and produces taxable sales in excess of $25 billion per year. The availability of a reliable source of high quality water will be critical to maintaining sustainability of all Bay Area communities."

4)  Da Envirocult and CGE are both cults that clearly embody all the insidious elements defining them as extremist 5th Column subversive organizations working within California to further invasive Urban governmental enemy's such as MROSD & GGNRA political aims.

Ron Arnold's Battered Communities testimony before Congress in June 1998 pointed out, these 5th Column Envirocults know that the Urban-Rural Prosperity Gap is also a Power Gap. America's Rural population is much smaller than its Urban population. The voting majority is Urban and has the power to impose its will upon the Rural minority. But the Rural few are also the vital few: The farmers who feed everyone make up only 2% of the population, but without that tiny minority, the 98% majority could not exist. The total goods sector is a politically insignificant number in electoral politics, yet they produce all the goods that make civilized life possible.

5)  Da Envirocult 5th Column leaders understand the Urban-Rural Power Gap well, and some of them act to thwart devolution of power to local communities as testified before Congress in the Battered Communities Report. This statement came from the Da Envirocult Chairman Michael McCloskey: ``A new "Wise Use" dogma is emerging as a challenge to us. It embodies the proposition that the best way for the public to determine how to manage the interest in the environment is through collaboration among stakeholders, not through normal governmental processes…" aka CRMP. ``This idea is strongly advanced in the report of the Western Regional Team of the Natural Resource Task Force of the President's Council of Sustainable Development (PCSD)…The Clinton Administration endorses the idea too. It sees this idea as an extension of its programs for reinventing government, for decentralization, and place-based management… The Quincy Library Group is often cited as one with the most comprehensive agenda: re-doing the plan for managing the entire national forest. Others include the Applegate Partnership in southern Oregon, the Henry's Fork Watershed Council in Idaho, and scores of watershed councils in Washington state. Many academics praise them too… A fundamental problem lies in the disparate geographical distribution of constituencies. This redistribution of power is designed to disempower our constituency, which is heavily urban. Few Urbanites are recognized as stakeholders in communities surrounding national forests.  Few of the proposals for stakeholder collaboration provide any way for distant stakeholders to be effectively represented. While we may have activists in some nearby communities, we don't have them all in the small towns involved. It is curious that these ideas would have the effect of transferring influence to the very communities where we are least organized and potent. They would maximize the influence of those who are least attracted to the environmental cause and most alienated from it." SOURCE: Report to the Sierra Club Board of Directors meeting in San Francisco, California on November 18,1995.

6)  What is the Bay Area water users ``Watershed Vision" of the Hetch Hetchy regional water system?  Read the only Public Opinion Survey (large pdf doc, please be patient) ever published of Households served by the San Francisco Water Department (SFWD). The Survey was conducted in February, 1994 by the San Francisco Water Department, Public Research Institute, San Francisco Sate University, in cooperation with EDAW, Inc. and Public Affairs Management. ``A survey was carried out in order to ascertain public opinion on issues of water quality, goals of watershed management, recreation, recreational access to the watersheds, environmental protection, financing, and other issues related to watershed management. Survey questions were based on SFWD goals for watershed management and on issues and input received from the public and from agencies at all levels of government . The findings of the survey will allow SFWD to take the opinions of its public constituency into account in the planning process." Compare the public opinion with the Bay Area ``Da Envirocult Vision".

7)  Urban-cultured decision makers suffer from educated incapacity about Rural sustainability problems. They've been trained to be blind to the basic problem, which is policy-induced elimination of goods-producing economies. Urban-cultured decision makers tend to propose Urban solutions to Rural unemployment, such as encouraging Urban businesses to relocate to Rural areas, taking no heed of such incongruities as the Rural setting being three hours by two-lane road from the nearest airport. Urban-cultured decision makers tend to gentrify the county by encouraging high-dollar Urban retirees and telecommuters to settle in Rural areas, suppressing and obliteration Rural culture rather than joining and blending into it.

8)  Envirocults systematically attack the character and humanity of Rural good-producers. Organizations such as Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility, the Sierra Club, Committee for Green Foothills, and many others hold news conferences, publish books and ``exposes" of Rural goods-producers and their organizations, depicting them as violent, racist, malevolent beings acting as ``Fronts" for corporations and posing a danger to all good persons. An accepting Urban public believes their reports and feels such an underclass to be unworthy of fair treatment or legal protection.  Our Rural homeland communities don't receive equal justice under our constitution.   Envirocult 5th Columns embrace a dogma that empowers only their anointed Urban true believers.

9) The 5th Column Da Envirocult and the Committee for Green Envirocults launched a Initiative measure to be submitted directly to the voters of San Mateo County called Coastside Protection Initiative of 1994: ``The people of the County of San Mateo ordain as follows:

Section 1. Purpose of This Measure (4) Reduction of Government Expenditures. To reduce costs to San Mateo County taxpayers of roads, law enforcement, fire protection, and other government services for scattered and remote development in the Rural Lands. Section 2. Findings (3) Development Treats. Pressures for extensive development on the Coastside are severe, especially with the proposed construction of increased water supplies , additional sewage treatment facilities, and larger highways. Development on remote and rugged Rural Lands is often difficult and costly, including to the public. It is frequently beset with unsafe roads, soil instability and fire hazard. The purpose of this initiative is to strengthen and make more specific policies protecting the San Mateo County Coastside, to extend key Coastal protections to the Skyline Area, to reduce hazards to residents from fire, flooding, and other natural disasters, and to give (Urban) voters a voice in decisions affecting the San Mateo County Coastside. Sponsors/Proponents: Lennie Roberts Committee for Green Foothills and Mary Hobbs, Co-Chair, Coast Committee, Sierra Club.

10)  The Who's Who in California's Envirocult 5th Column: Governor ``Pay To Play" Davis, State Resource Secretary Mary Nicoles, California Coastal Commi-Czars & Coastal Czar for Life Peter Douglas, Committee for Green Envirocults (CGF) lobbyist Lennie Roberts, CGE's Envirocult high priestess aka 6th San Mateo County Board of Supervisor for life, Da Envirocult's mouth piece Mark Massera, Kenneth Adelman aka CCC Spy in the Sky, San Mateo County Board of Supervisors Richard Gordon, MROSD's Mary Davies (President of CGE) & Eminent Domain Director Craig Britton, Penninsula Open Space Trust aka POST Audrey Rust (former Da Envirocult Fund Raising Director, San Mateo County Environmental Planning Services Terry Burnes, Maria Raines, Brian Zamora, Dean Peterson, Bill Cameron, San Mateo County Planning Commission, San Mateo County Resource Conservation District, San Mateo County Farm Bureau's Administrator Jack Olsen, and an every growing flock of unstable, incompetent, corrupted Envirocult activist county, state and federal bureaucratic employees ineptly manipulating California's natural resource regulatory agencies to name but a few.

14) Alan Beaven was the California Watershed Posse co-founder and Clean Water Act legal counsel. Alan's  passion was the protection of California's water quality and the watershed's natural systems. He made the ultimate sacrifice for this, his adopted country, on September 11, 2001 on United Airlines Flight 93. Alan Beaven was one of those heroes that died on 9/11 by  fearlessly confronting the evil of terrorism.  Alan's love of life, family and community compelled him to do what he had always done…the right thing. The CWP will strive to preserve Alan Beaven's living legacy by protecting California's water quality and rural watershed areas. The CWP will provide the leadership, stewardship services and wildland urban interface (WUI) area security by deploying wireless early detection fire/water/intruder alert sentinel systems.

15) Edmund Burke once declared, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”  We, the California Watershed Posse, intend to do something.  Why you may ask?  Because as Winston Churchill once noted, “We have not journeyed all this way across the centuries, across the oceans, across the mountains, across the prairies, because we are made of sugar candy".  Experience Alan Beaven’s  living legacy by becoming a Member of the California Watershed Posse's No 5th Column 4.US taskforce.   Head up the effort in your California county. The CWP will support your local "Wise Use" efforts by providing your County with it's own www.yourcounty.helprid.us website.  It's your homeland. Your civil right and civic obligation.  Your living legacy.  Your time to do the right thing...Get Involved!  California Watershed Posse has  just mounted up and is in hot pursuit of the 5th Column…the Enemies in Our Midst.
